Meesons have been supplying, installing and servicing automatic door operators in hospitals, colleges, schools, doctors’ and dentists’ surgeries, post offices, banks, building societies and hotels, to name but a few, for over 6 years.
Our Automatic door engineers are all ADSA (Automatic Door Suppliers’ Association) accredited and regularly trained by our door operator manufacturer.
An established network of auto door installation, maintenance and service teams across the UK give us an impressive coverage and response.
Swing doors, sliding doors, bi-parting, folding doors, revolving doors and telescopic doors are all within our portfolio of core competencies.
Swing doors are amongst the most common reliable of automatic door types; often being “semi-automated” as an economical and space saving solution to door automation requirements.
Automatic folding doors represent a preferable solution when space is restricted yet the door opening size needs to be maximised. Folding automatics also overcomes the problems of the moving door leaf opening towards a user as is the case with automatic swing doors.
Where climate control has to be balanced against a high human throughput, automatic revolving doors provide a comprehensive and highly aesthetic solution.
Automatic telescopic doors allow sliding doors to be installed in restricted locations where the column and beam structure or façade entrance is limited.
DDA legislation requires all public building owners to make “reasonable adjustments” to the physical features of their premises to facilitate disabled access. The timeline limit set down of October 2004 has now passed and many organisations have yet to address the issues.
Meesons’ automatic doors provide a wealth of solutions for making the entry points of a building and internal doors disability access friendly and DDA compliant.
The low energy door operator or “Auto Assist” operator is the most popular and cost effective DDA auto door solution and entails a simple retrofit to an entrance door. This operator can be either door mounted or transom mounted and allows an existing door to be automated and used as an automatic door, when needed, by the use of push pads – otherwise it remains as a manual swing door.
A cost effective and seamless retrofit can often be made to your existing door by installing the "low energy" auto assist door. See the Auto assist page for further details or call our helpline (0870 787 7481)...
