Only those authorised can enter through a single doorway

This solution allows the supervision of entrances to a single-door. SMACS Entry can be one directional (entry or exit only) or bi-directional (entry and exit).

How it works:

Single Entry: The door will be opened only if the person in the scanning zone is alone and has correct access rights. As soon as the door is opened and an unauthorised person tries to follow the authorised user, the event will be recorded and an alarm will be raised to the security officer. There is no need to change your current infrastructure SMACS Entry can installed as retrofit.

Multiple Entry Transits: Where the transit of multiple authorised personnel is needed, SMACS entry will allow access to all users who present their relevant ID to the access control device. Should a user fail to present an authorised ID, SMACS Entry will trigger an alarm and the event will be reported to a security officer. An alternative scenario is that the door remains open and that a “virtual airlock” is created with SMACS Entry. Should an unauthorised entry attempt occur an alarm will be generated which can be reported to the security officer for further action.
