Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the generation and research of new sales opportunities and leads for the field-based sales team to follow-up.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in a telemarketing and a lead generation role.
- Investigate and research new business opportunities
- Explain the products and services offered
- Qualify leads for the field based Sales Team to follow-up
- Ensure the CRM database is updated
- Liaise closely with the Sales Team – participating in monthly sales meetings
- Office based, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
- Highly motivated and the ability to work on their own initiative to achieve agreed call objectives
- Clear, articulate and professional telephone manner
- Enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team
- Demonstrable Telemarketing experience in a B2B environment
- Knowledge of technical building products is desirable
- PC literate with good organisational skills
- A background in a specification sales environment is preferred
