SMACS Secures Swisscom with 3 Door Mantrap

PRODUCT: SMACS FlexMat SECTOR: Data Centre LOCATION:    Switzerland SWISSCOM operate 24 datacentres within Switzerland, offering data management services to highly demanding customers. Within one of their existing data centres there was a requirement to increase the level of security through a 3-door mantrap, whilst maintaining high productivity. Therefore a highly secure mantrap had to be created to securely manage the flows of people and material. The construction work was minimised by using the existing infrastructure. Typical flows through the mantrap include staff, wheelchair users, hand luggage and large material. SMACS FlexMat provided the ideal solution to solve the required specifications. The SMACS FlexMat can be adapted to create mantraps with 2 to 4 doors, whilst at the same time, securely managing the flow of people and material. It also ensures all users, with or without material, are subject to the same level of high accuracy tailgating detection. It also integrates seamlessly into the existing architectural and technical infrastructure. Special modes which can be provided including “emergency exit” mode and specifically configured passage processes. "Access security is instrumental for our business activity.
